The University of Caloocan City successfully conducted its Purple Walk in celebration of Women’s Month which symbolizes unity, empowerment and solidarity in advancing gender equality and women’s rights.
Through the participation of students, faculty members and university personnel, the activity reflected a collective show of support for women by wearing Purple—the official color of Women’s Month, representing justice, dignity, and the invaluable contributions of women who continue to inspire change and break barriers across various fields and sectors.
As the celebration of Women’s Month continues, the University encourages everyone to take part in advocating for gender equality and to honor the remarkable role of women in shaping a more inclusive and progressive society.
